Notice of Ballot Processing
For the November 5, 2024, General Election on
Saturday, November 9, 2024, starting 9 AM
Monday, November 11, 2024, starting 9 AM
Processing end time will be determined by the number of ballots to process but will not extend beyond 5 PM. Processing includes:
- Running ballots through the sorter
- Verifying signatures on envelopes
- Manually verifying challenged ballots due to signature issues
- Removing ballots from envelopes and preparing ballots for counting
- Duplicating damaged ballots
- Counting Ballots
Processing will take place in the Elections Department and adjoining areas as needed. Observers must check in at the main office, Suite 121, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael, to receive a name badge and instructions.
