November 5, 2019 Local Elections

Election Day workers appointed to take the red supply bag from the receiving centers to the Civic Center. After Receiving Center Clerks confirm delivery of the scanner bag and red supply bag from chief inspectors, the Riders complete a checklist confirming receipt of the red bags from the Receiving Center Clerks. Bags are transported back to the Civic Center by one rider and one deputy sheriff. At the Civic Center, Elections Department staff complete a checklist confirming receipt of the bags. Riders are deputized to uphold the laws by taking the oath from Article 20, Sec. 3a, of the California Constitution.
