Charles F. McGlashan Pathway

• Asphalt and boardwalk .6 mile pathway offers easy access to people of all abilities and fitness levels.
• Enjoy scenic creekside views.
• The western end of the pathway is a short way from the Tam Valley Community Center.
• The pathway is named in honor of former Marin County Supervisor Charles F. McGlashan, an environmentalist and advocate for non-motorized transportation.
• Friendly dogs welcome on leash.

• Be courteous to others on the pathway, especially when approaching or passing.
• There are no bathrooms or other amenities along the pathway.
• Class 1 and Class 2 eBikes are allowed on Parks multiuse pathways.

• Enter at Mill Valley/Sausalito Multiuse Pathway at Coyote Creek or Tennessee Valley Road and Marin Avenue in Mill Valley.

• Be courteous and respectful of others. Parents and guardians are responsible for helping children observe pathway rules.
• Dogs must be on a leash. Leash must not exceed 6 feet in length.
• Individuals accompanying dogs are required to clean up and dispose of pet waste.
• Keep the pathway clean and litter-free. Use garbage cans provided, scoop dog poop, and carry out all your belongings.
• Do not approach, follow, or feed wildlife.
• Be peaceful. Loud noise and amplified music are not allowed.
• No smoking, no fires.
• No alcoholic beverages..
• No camping or overnight parking.
• No firearms or weapons of any kind.
• No operating or landing aircraft of any kind, including drones.
• Class 1 and Class 2 eBikes are allowed on multiuse pathways. Pathway speed limits must be observed.
• Other motorized vehicles are not allowed, except Power-Driven Mobility Devices (OPDMD) per Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Permits are required for any commercial use, including professional dog walking, tours, classes, camps, film, or photography. Learn about permit applications.

• Travel at safe speeds.
• Keep right, pass left.
• Politely call out when passing, especially when approaching from behind.
• Don't block the path. Keep moving.
• Look and listen. Put headphones and cell phone away.
• Wear lights or reflective clothing, especially at night or when visibility is poor.
