Skate Park Rules
- All users at this skate park facility must wear commercially manufactured safety gear, which includes helmet, elbow pads, and kneepads.
- Failure to wear safety equipment may result in loss of park privilege.
- Skateboarding is a hazardous recreational activity. (Gov. Code Section 831.7.) Use this facility at your own risk.
- The County of Marin is not liable for injury incurred by users at this facility.
- All users at this skate park facility must skate safely at all times and avoid collisions with others. Fighting or other disruptive behavior may result in expulsion from this skate park facility and/or suspension of future skate park facility use.
- All users at this skate park facility must abide by staff instructions at all times.
- This skate park facility is designed and for the use of skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, or inline skates only. No bicycles or motorized vehicles are allowed.
- All skate equipment used must be in good condition and not damage the park or its structures.
- Spectators are not permitted inside the skate park.
- This skate park facility is closed for use when surfaces are wet, icy, or for maintenance. Regardless of whether or not there are signs deeming the skate park facility closed or if the gates are locked, if the surfaces of the skate park facility are wet, icy, or maintenance is being performed, the skate park is deemed closed.
- Notify staff of any unsafe conditions found inside or outside this skate park facility. County of Marin reserves the right to change the skate park facility and/or park schedule as necessary.
- Children less than six (6) years are not permitted, except during activities scheduled for that age group.
- Children under ten (10) years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- Any personal belongings or objects are the sole responsibility of the user. County of Marin is not responsible for loss, damage
or theft of such items.
For the Enjoyment of All Participants
- All food, drink, alcohol, glass bottles, smoking, chewing gum, and tobacco are prohibited inside the skate park facility.
- Profanity, abusive language, and loud music are prohibited.
- No pets or animals are permitted inside the skate park facility.
- No trespassing while skate park facility is closed.
- No skating in parking lot, on sidewalks, curbs, or entrance areas near the skate park facility.
- No modifications are permitted to the skate park facility. Any unauthorized ramps and/or other obstacles are not permitted and will be removed from the skate park facility.
- No contests of any sort or commercial use are allowed in the skate park facility without prior authorization.
