The Online Application system is currently unavailable. However, you can still file your Fictitious Business Name Application with the County Clerk by the following methods:

  • By Mail (Please include your check along with a self-addressed return envelope).
  • By dropbox outside of the Marin County Recorder’s Office (Available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
  • In person by appointment only.
