The STR license application process must be developed before the County can accept an STR License application. As a result, you will not have to apply for a STR license before you renew your Business License this summer. Follow the Department of Finance's renewal requirements and continue to pay your Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT). The County will let you know when you can apply for a STR license.
License preference will go to STR owners who registered to operate before January 1, 2024. It is likely you would be placed on a wait list to apply for a STR license. That said, the STR license application process must be developed before the County can accept an STR License application. The application process will be posted online when complete.
