The Marin County Department of Agriculture/Weights and Measures works closely with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) to develop the use of effective biological controls for use on invasive pests of agriculture. Biological control organisms may be placed within Marin County to help manage a variety of pests, such as Yellow Starthistle, gorse, and Scotch Broom.
